What is CSA?

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. Farmers and eaters make a commitment to each other at the beginning of the growing season. Throughout the summer and fall, members receive a weekly share of the farm's produce. In turn, the farmer can focus on planning and growing fresh, delicious and nutritious vegetables, rather than worrying about marketing perishable produce in the summer.

Benefits for Members

  • access to fresh, local, and delicious vegetables at a reasonable price

  • varieties selected for taste, nutrition and quality, not for long distance transportation

  • opportunity to discover new vegetables

  • opportunity to learn about agriculture, visit the farm and know your farmers

Benefits for Farmers

  • a guaranteed market for farm products throughout the season

  • income at the start of the season when many production expenses occur

  • a close relationship with customers

The goal of our CSA is to steward our land for future generations and to support you in eating better. No need for endless decisions in the produce section at the grocery store -- each week of the season brings you a variety of vegetables, along with a newsletter full of recipes and cooking tips. Plus, you can pick three vegetables that you don't want and we'll find substitutes for you!
